The Full Budapest Experience

Duration: 7 hours (6 hours of walking + 1 hour lunch break)
For the curious, the unhurried, and those who want to see it all — without turning it into a race.
This is the extended version of my classic city tour.

We’ll stroll, ride the retro metro, climb a few towers (optional, I promise!), peek into gorgeous interiors, soak up the views — and still have time to sit down for a proper Hungarian lunch.

Think of it as Budapest, with extra sauce 😄
What’s in store?

  • Buda Castle Hill, Fisherman’s Bastion, and Matthias Church — now with a royal backstory!
  • Panoramic views that make you say “wow” out loud
  • The magnificent Parliament building and the moving “Shoes on the Danube Bank” memorial
  • St. Stephen’s Basilica — outside and inside (gold and marble everywhere!)
  • Optional climb to the dome for jaw-dropping views of Pest
  • Ride on Europe’s oldest underground line (M1) — still charming since 1896
  • Heroes’ Square and elegant Andrássy Avenue
  • A peek into the famous Széchenyi Thermal Baths
  • Vajdahunyad Castle — a fairytale fortress hidden in City Park
  • The grand 19th-century Opera House — yes, we’ll go inside
  • And of course — a delicious traditional Hungarian lunch. Think goulash, Tokaji wine, and flaky strudel... because you earned it.
If you want to not just see Budapest, but really feel it — this day is for you.
